Ramsey Potts, an RM/Sotheby’s Specialist since early 2017, holds a Diploma in Automotive Service and an ASE Technician Certification from Vale Technical Institute. While earning his bachelor’s degree, he worked as a mechanic in a BOSCH Service Center, where he was also on the crew supporting customers’ amateur racing efforts. Throughout a 25-year career in the financial services industry, Ramsey maintained his connection to the collector car hobby as a consultant for friends and colleagues, purchasing, maintaining, and selling collector cars, both via auction and private sale. Ramsey specializes in European marques, with an emphasis on Post-War Sports and GT cars, having owned and maintained numerous examples. A true enthusiast, Ramsey is a member of several European Marque car clubs and has raced Porsches, BMWs, and Mazdas on the SCCA and Grand-Am circuits.
