SANDHILLS MOTORING FESTIVAL EVENTS SCHEDULE

The Sandhills Motoring Festival will take place annually over Memorial Day Weekend from Friday through Sunday. We have a variety of events lined up all culminating in the Sunday Concours in the Village taking place in the historic Village of Pinehurst from 9am until 3pm.

The Sunday Concours in the Village is open to the general public for spectators, no admission charge!

FRIDAY, MAY 24th, 2024

SMF Block Party: 5:00pm – 9:00pm
Location: Pine Crest Inn, 50 Dogwood Rd, Pinehurst, NC 28374
Located in the heart of the Village of Pinehurst, SMF will welcome all entrants and sponsors Friday evening for an informal car show with a BBQ dinner and a live band at the world famous Pine Crest Inn.

SATURDAY, MAY 25th, 2024

Cars & Coffee: 8:00am – 11:00am
Location: TBD
Join us for Cars and Coffee. This event is limited to 100 cars. Enjoy the camaraderie of other automobile enthusiasts.

Road Rally: 8:00am – 2:00pm
Location Start: TBD
Location Finish: Pine Crest Inn, 50 Dogwood Rd, Pinehurst, NC 28374
The Sandhills Motoring Festival takes on the back roads of the local area with the SMF Road Rally. The Rally courses through the Sandhills area, providing challenging questions, and a tour of the countryside. The rally finishes at the Pine Crest Inn in the Village of Pinehurst with a cookout lunch.

Hangar Party: 6:00pm – 9:00pm
Location: Moore County Airport, 7825 Aviation Dr, Carthage, NC 28327
Saturday evening features the SMF Hangar Party, featuring special display cars, at the Moore County Airport’s Main Hangar along with a catered low country boil, exotic cars, and airplanes on display. Come celebrate SMF in style!

SUNDAY, MAY 26th, 2024

Concours in the Village: 9:00am – 3:00pm
Location: Village of Pinehurst
Enjoy our premiere car show event with automobiles displayed in the streets of the historic Village of Pinehurst. Awards show starting at 2pm.

Gala Dinner: 5:30pm – 9:00pm
Location: Pinehurst Fair Barn – 200 Beulah Hill Rd S, Pinehurst, NC 28374
Enjoy cocktails, awards, and dinner, and a silent auction!
