Any proceeds after expenses and operating costs from our events go to benefit the Sandhills Motoring Festival Endowment at Sandhills Community College which provides a scholarship fund for students in the Automotive Technologies Program. We thank you for your support in helping make the Sandhills Motoring Festival a success and we look forward to seeing you Memorial Day Weekend!

Registration

Registration will open Friday, January 27th, 2023!

Block Party

On Friday, the Sandhills Motoring Festival kicks off the weekend of events with Automobiles & BBQ at our Block Party at the Pine Crest Inn in the Village of Pinehurst.

Road Rally

On Saturday, the Sandhills Motoring Festival takes on the back roads of the local area with the SMF Road Rally.

Cars & Coffee

Join the Sandhills Motoring Festival for our new Cars & Coffee - open to the public!

Pottery Tour

Saturday features the Backroads Pottery Tour is a special event that features Ben Owen Pottery in Seagrove, NC.

Hangar Party

Saturday evening features the SMF Hangar Party at the Moore County Airport featuring excellent food, exotic cars, and airplanes on display.

Concours in the Village

On Sunday, the Sandhills Motoring Festival features its signature event. Enjoy 160 Automobiles from 20 Classes displayed on the streets of the historic Village of Pinehurst.

Gala Dinner

Finishing out the weekend is our annual Awards Banquet at the historic Pinehurst Fair Barn for our entrants to enjoy cocktails, a sit down dinner, and awards.
